Removing a WebGlimpse archive

For an overview of WebGlimpse, please see the WebGlimpse home page.

For information on creating archives and what they are, see Making an archive for WebGlimpse.

Removing an archive

Basically, removing an archive is as simple as removing all of the files that were created by the utility makegharc. For this, there is a WebGlimpse script called rmgharc.

Since archives are independent and are based on directories, a user can delete one archive without disturbing another archive.

Simply type rmgharc, and follow the prompts. This will delete all WebGlimpse and Glimpse files associated with the archive, and will remove the neighborhoods and search boxes from all files listed in the .wg_toindex file.
